On August 18th, 1863 United States Secretary of State William Seward accompnied by a Diplomatic Corp consisting of representatives from Britain, Russia, Hanseatic League, Italy, Sewden, Niaragua and France boarded the afternoon Black River and Utica train in Utica, NY and headed to the famous Rural Resort known as Moore's Hotel in Trenton Falls.
On August 18th, 2013 members of the cast of "IT HAPPENED IN TRENTON FALLS..." will board the train from Utica NY to recreate this historic event. They will disembark at Sand Road near where the Trenton Falls Station was located. A horse and buggy wil transport the actors the Scenic Trail entrance.
